A coffee with a passionate and exciting woman

Today I had the pleasure of interviewing a true woman: driven to live authentically, consistent to the very end, where the word efficiency comes alive. Now you can get to know her better.

María has just joined the team, although she has been familiar with the project for over a year. Larimar City and the multinational CLERHPThis, he tells us, has made his adaptation “easy and challenging at the same time.”

Her role will be strategic and key to decision-making: promoting operational efficiency, integrating innovative processes across all areas of the group, and strengthening the internal structure to support the international growth projected for 2025-2026. This is a position she is well acquainted with thanks to her experience at leading Spanish companies and international firms that have entrusted her with precisely these challenges.

But María is, above all, a warm and direct woman who doesn't just strive to achieve goals, but rather encourages any dream to become a reality. She's like those signposts along the way that guide us toward our destination and confirm that we're headed in the right direction. From a distance, she might seem authoritarian, but nothing could be further from the truth: she knows the meaning of prudence and understands that sincerity, when not accompanied by affection, can turn into something negative.

If we ask her about the most important thing in her life, she answers without hesitation: her family. And when we ask her what she wants to leave in her daughters, she is clear: "that they be strong, determined, brave women; that they know what is truly important and not be distracted by other issues that do not deserve our attention." She admits that she is not a perfect woman, but assures that she has the perfect team: her husband, with whom she forms a tandem of ten.

As for the challenges she's taking on now, she's aware of the hurdles to overcome and the obstacles that often arise in a large, growing company. But she has a clear goal: to define processes, improve the team's capabilities, and make everything flow—one of her greatest gifts. She agrees with the president on this point: "What you see in her eyes becomes reality." She's a woman, without a doubt, determined. A woman of excellence.

His professional career, combined with his approachability and human qualities, speak for themselves. But when we share his more personal side, he becomes emotional: people's personShe talks about how she became an engineer thanks to her father and how life sometimes leaves its mark on us and forces us to surpass ourselves. And when we achieve this, stepping out of our comfort zone, things like this happen: professional opportunities and excellent people who make a company better in every way.

We also talked about books, movies, travel, and the future, although that's for another interview. The best part is getting to know her on a day-to-day basis: when you don't know how to tackle a problem, she's there, with a smile, to offer you an alternative... or even to invite you to dinner at her house, because she's the best host you could have in Punta Cana.

She is María Piñole, Our Director of Processes and Operations.
