The Region of Murcia and the Caribbean join forces in a meeting that strengthens international collaboration in the contract sector
On November 4th, the El Batel Auditorium in Cartagena hosted a new edition of Mediterranean Contract Forum, organized by David Cámara and the INFO Region of Murcia, which brought together architects, designers, manufacturers and developers with a common vision: to boost the internationalization of the contract sector and its positioning in new high-potential markets, such as the Caribbean.
Under the theme "A shared vision from the Caribbean and the Arabian Gulf", the speakers agreed to highlight the sustained growth of the Caribbean region and its attractiveness for high-end architecture, design and furniture projects.
Among them, JCA. (Architect) shared his experience in the Dominican Republic, highlighting the moment of expansion that the country is experiencing and the opportunities it offers for European firms with technical and creative capacity.
For his part, GM. (Design Director, Hospitality & Luxury Residential Specialist) spoke about the evolution of luxury residential and hotel design, and how European styles adapt to the tropical context to create spaces with identity and sophistication.
Finally, SE., CEO of his own artisan firm, championed the role of design made in the Region of Murcia as an example of exportable creativity and added value for international projects.
On behalf of Larimar City & Resort, Ángela Moyano, head of the After-Sales department, participated in the panel dedicated to the Caribbean, providing an essential perspective: that of customer support and the personalization of spaces in the field of interior design and furniture within large-scale projects.
“During my speech, I wanted to emphasize the importance of having a solid and specialized structure in furniture and contract projects to support projects of the scale of Larimar City. And what better partner than the professionals from our beloved Region of Murcia, whose experience and quality are internationally recognized.”
From her experience at Larimar, Angela Moyano highlighted how after-sales interior design work has become a fundamental pillar of the project, as it allows owners and investors to be accompanied in the process of personalizing and equipping their homes, guaranteeing a comprehensive luxury experience.
The presentation of Larimar City & Resort, a smart and sustainable city being developed in the heart of the Caribbean, generated great interest among attendees due to its urban planning philosophy, technological vision, and commitment to well-being and high-level design. Furthermore, it is a project spearheaded by CLERHP, a company based in Murcia, Spain, which has its headquarters in the city of Murcia.
Being able to present this project in Cartagena, a land with a long industrial, innovative and exporting tradition, was especially symbolic for Ángela Moyano, who valued the meeting as a “deeply rewarding and enriching experience, both professionally and personally”.
The forum highlighted the need to build bridges between territories that share the same vision for the future: quality, design, sustainability and internationalization.
For Larimar City & Resort, its participation reinforces its commitment to the contract sector and its role as an engine of economic and cultural development between Murcia and the Caribbean, uniting talent, innovation and business vision.
