The social work project at Larimar City & Resort is now a reality.
With her heart set on the community, Larimar is promoting a donation drive in favor of the Funeyca PC Foundation, a foundation for the cultural and artistic expansion of Punta Cana, its website ( https://funeyca.org/ ), an initiative that brings children closer to progress and development through art and education.
At Larimar City & Resort, we believe that true development is measured not only in infrastructure, but also in opportunities. And few things are as transformative as education and music. Therefore, as part of our social outreach, we have launched a donation drive for the FUNEYCA PC Foundation and its president and executive director of the Punta Cana System, Ms. ROMINA ASCHPORWIS, a project that has shown how underprivileged children can change their destiny through the power of culture.
Social initiative
This initiative, led by Rosa Sancho, Director of Protocol and Events at Larimar, along with Ana Sánchez, wife of our president, stems from the conviction that progress is only real when it reaches people. They have combined their efforts, time, and commitment to bring together Dominican, Spanish, and international companies with a presence in the country, inviting them to join a cause that goes beyond philanthropy: it is an investment in the future. Because Larimar represents progress, innovation, and well-being, but also empathy. We are a city designed for a better life, and that means looking at our surroundings with commitment. In this case, doing so through music is especially symbolic: the sound of a violin or the rhythm of a drum can open doors for children who simply needed an opportunity to discover their talent and forge their own path.
At the opening ceremony At Larimar City & Resort, this commitment to the human and social development of the region will be highlighted. It will be an opportunity to publicly recognize all the companies that have already joined this initiative—the first five firms have already confirmed their participation—and to express gratitude for the collaborative effort that will allow the Foundation to improve its facilities, acquire new equipment, and expand its teaching staff, with the goal of reaching more children each year.
Because when a city is born with a purpose, its pulse is felt far beyond its borders. Larimar aspires to be that driving force that inspires well-being, community, and hope.
